General Purpose wireless modules

Eleven's proven Radio transmission modules, based on XInC2 wireless processors, are available in 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz ISM bands.   The WHAM is a complete digital wireless audio (DWA) solution all in a remarkably small form factor.   WHAM modules carry the XInC2 wireless processor, an EEPROM, a crystal oscillator, an optional audio ADC (transmit side) or optional audio DAC (receive side), and a powerful RF module.   Mass produced in China, WHAM modules are production ready and ideal for immediate integration into a wide range of audio products.

Our 2.4 GHz modules are perfectly suited for products in the worldwide market.   They meet frequency regulations in most countries of the world and gives you the opportunity to deliver a worldwide product without the need to create variants for specific markets.   With transmit speeds up to 1.5 Mbps, WHAM modules are ideal for a wide range of electronics applications, including the following:

WHAM2 and WHAM2-D Modules

The WHAM2 module, while designed with wireless audio applications in mind, can be used for many other wireless applications.   Writing a custom RF protocol stack for the included XInC processor is very easy because of the hardware multithreaded architecture.   In addition, there is a wealth of sample code available with the development kits and also available for download off of this website.   If you already have a baseband processor and are just looking for a reliable and affordable RF module, the WHAM2 and WHAM2-D modules can provide that as well.   Both of these modules are actually composed of two sub-modules: the Digital Module ("DM") which contains the XInC baseband processor, and the RF Module ("RFM") which contains the RF transceiver IC and supporting circuitry.   You can choose to purchase just the DM, just the RFM, or both as a complete assembly.

WHAM4 Modules

The WHAM4 module was also designed primarily with wireless audio applications in mind but it too can be used for many other wireless applications.   Unlike the WHAM2 and WHAM2-D modules, this design is not comprised of sub-modules and therefore cannot be used with a different baseband processor.
